Plan your visit
The honest "what to expect" guide.
Most first-time church visits feel awkward. We've worked hard to make this one easier. Here's everything you'd want to know before Sunday.
Services
Sunday at 9:00 AM and 11:00 AM. Same teaching, same music — just two services so parking isn't a mess.
Every service is also livestreamed on YouTube. Link is at /watch/.
Where we meet
2350 Carlsbad Boulevard
Carlsbad, CA 92008
Free parking in the lot and on Carlsbad Boulevard. First-time guest spots are near the main entrance — we'll save you a walk.
What to wear
Whatever you put on this morning. We've seen sandals, suits, board shorts, and once a wetsuit. We aren't kidding — no dress code.
How long is it?
About 75 minutes. Music, a few announcements, a 35-minute Bible teaching, and you're out. We start and end on time.

Answers to the 6 questions every first-timer asks
Will someone single me out?
No. You don't have to stand up, raise your hand, introduce yourself, or sign anything. Sit wherever, leave when you want.
Is there childcare?
Yes. Coast Kids runs both services for 6 weeks through 5th grade. Electronic check-in, background-checked volunteers, single-entry policy. Drop off about 10 minutes before the service starts.
What kind of music is it?
A mix of contemporary worship, hymns reworked with modern arrangements, and a few original songs. Not a concert, not a hymnal-only setting. Most services have 3–4 songs total.
Do I need to bring anything?
A Bible is nice but we have them available. There's no offering passed — if you give, it's via the box at the back or online.
What if I'm not a Christian?
You're welcome. We teach like you're listening — assuming nothing, explaining as we go. No one's going to pressure you into a decision at the end.
What about after the service?
Coffee and pastries in the lobby. If you're new, look for the "Coast Welcome" table — it's the one with the warm-looking people. Not a sales pitch, just a conversation.
Still have questions?
We'd rather answer them before Sunday than have you spend the whole service wondering.
